100 Years of the Independence of Poland and the national independence day
11 NOVEMBER 2018 marks a very important day in Poland's history. It's a time to commemorate not only the end of World War I, as is the case in western Europe on what is known as Armistice Day, but most importantly to Poles, their county's re-emergence on the map of the world, returning from an imposed status as a stateless nation.
It was way back in 1795, during the third partition of the Kingdom of Poland that the country effectively ceased to exist, split between three regional powers of the day: the Russian Empire, the Kingdom of Prussia and the Austrian Habsburg Monarchy. 100 lat od odzyskania Niepodległości przez Polskę
W dniu 11 Listopada, 2018 Polacy w kraju i na emigracji obchodzą Narodowe Święto Niepodległości i 100 rocznicę odzyskania Niepodległości Polski.
11 listopada 1918 roku, po 123 latach zaborów, niewoli i nieobecności na mapie Europy, Polska odzyskała niepodległość.
Z tej okazji Msza św. o godz. 11:00 została poprzedzona programem okolicznościowym przygotowanym przez uczniów i nauczycieli Sobotniej Szkoły Języka Polskiego oraz zuchów i harcerzy. We Mszy wzieli udział Weterani z organizacji Polish American Veterans oraz Rycerze Kolumba. 
Serdecznie dziekujemy wszystkim za udział i modlitwę w intencji Ojczyzny i dziękujemy uczniom i nauczycielom, zuchom i harcerzom za przygotowanie przedstawienia. Bóg zapłać!
