On Tuesday, November 1st, we will observe The Solemnity of All Saints (Holy Day of obligation) and on Wednesday, November 2nd - All Souls’ Day.
Please join us this Sunday, October 30th, for a prayer service for the deceased at Notre Dame Cemetery on Webster Street in Worcester in both English and Polish at 3:00 p.m. (Weather permitting). Please gather near the cross in the circle, where the priests are buried. From there we will go in procession, praying the rosary and reading the names of those who died in the last 12 months. Please note, that in case of a rain, the service will take place in church at 3:00 p.m.
In addition to the prayers for the deceased at the cemetery, the Church invites us to remember the deceased in a special way through various forms of prayer such as: Holy Mass, Indulgences, Rosary, Wypominki, and good deeds done in their name.
When filling out your All Souls Day envelopes please PRINT clearly the names of your deceased loved ones, and place them in the basket during the collection. We will be reading the names and praying for our deceased loved ones during the Rosary Devotion from the 2nd to the 8th of November at 6:00pm.
