On August 26th (Saturday) the Church in Poland and Polonia around the world celebrates the Solemnity of Our Lady of Częstochowa.

Kurs Nowe Życie to weekendowe, dynamiczne rekolekcje prowadzone obecnie w 67 krajach na całym świecie i są skierowane do wierzących, wątpiących oraz poszukujących żywej relacji z Bogiem. Prowadzone są w bardzo ciekawej, interaktywnej formie. To kurs, który nadał sens i cel życia oraz przywrócił nadzieję wielu tysiącom osób. Nowe Życie to doświadczenie Boga, który troszczy się o nas, kocha i chce abyśmy żyli w pełni radości i pokoju.

Kurs ten określany jest często „sercem” Szkoły Nowej Ewangelizacji. Jest to kurs duchowości uczniostwa. Celem kursu jest doprowadzenie do stania się tak jak Jan Apostoł - umiłowanym uczniem, który spoczywa na sercu Jezusa i który zna i słyszy Jego głos. Kurs ten najpierw uczy tego jak słuchać Boga, w jaki sposób usłyszeć Jego głos pośród zgiełku życia, jak stać się Jego przyjacielem, jak sprawić by relacje, w które wchodzimy były zdrowe i budowane w miłości i prawdzie, jak stać się uczniem, który siada u stóp swego jedynego Mistrza, by być jak On. Ponadto kurs ukazuje na podstawie postaci św. Jana nie tylko jak być uczniem Jezusa, ale także jak formować kolejnych uczniów Jedynego Mistrza.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 18TH at our church, students of the Encounter School Ministry and members of the Metanoia Community will lead and minister during a healing service, which is open to all. There will be holy Eucharist, worship and prayer ministry - all in English. What approach should we have to this devotion? Let's get acquainted with the testimony of Sister Kathleen Rooney, SSJ, who shared her experience of the freeing power of God in her life when she was a student of ESM:

If you would like to spend some time in a more relaxed atmosphere among our parishioners, and members of Parish groups like: Men of Saint Joseph, Mothers in Prayer, Book Club, Knights of Columbus, Altar Servers, and those who are related somehow to our faith community, you are cordially invited to Rutland State Park for a picnic sponsored by the evangelization-charismatic Metanoia Community, who will provide bread and kiełbasa (other food and drink on your own).

AUGUST - THURSDAY  We pray for for all called to serve and the new vocations in the Church. We give thank to God for the sacraments of the Eucharist and Holy Order.

Jesus has called us to do what He did, and that includes the healing of the sick. At this event we will learn how we can be more effective ministers of Jesus’ healing power in the world. Will you give Him a chance to teach you? Please register by May 3rd.

Our Parish supports the victims of the war in Ukraine by helping Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth from Ukraine.

Ash Wednesday - February 22. Please join us as we begin the Holy Season of Lent.
