Julia Osęka was appointed by Pope Francis as a Voting Member of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, which took place in Rome in October 2023.
Julia was born in Poland. 
She is now a junior at Saint Joseph’s University (SJU) in Philadelphia majoring in physics and theology.
